In writing this book, my purpose was to show that when we choose to be lawful, we contribute to a peaceful and stable society where everyone can grow, learn, and thrive. Lawfulness is not merely about following rules; it is about understanding our place in the larger social fabric and acting with a sense of responsibility and purpose.

Drawing from our Constitution, ancient civilizational texts, and timeless values, Being Lawful invites adolescents and young adults to explore the deeper meaning of citizenship—not just in terms of rights, but equally in terms of duties. A duty-bound society is a strong society. And when citizens become aware, responsible, and active, the nation naturally rises to greater heights.
